Sweetie turns 8!

Sweetie is now 8 years old! Wow, I can hardly believe it. She is so sweet, sensitive, and caring. She's also a fabulous big sister. Here she is with the party decorations. Sadly I didn't get a picture of her cake (it wasn't until after the party that I realized this). It wasn't anything special but it was VERY delicious. She loves chocolate just like her mother :)

Although it wasn't planned she basically had a High School Musical party. Sweetie got pj's (worn below), a mic you sing into with songs from the movies, HSM sheets, and an 'all access' book of some sort (kinda like a yearbook).

Instead of an official party she chose to invite a couple friends and took them to Build-A-Bear Workshop where she of course made a HSM bear!

Happy Birthday Sweetie, we love you!

Easter fun

I know, I know, this is rather late but that's the story of my life lately. April is busy for us; we have 2 birthdays (10 days apart) and Easter was right in the middle this year. Not to mention the fact that I'm constantly showing the house and all the while Ladd is in Tennessee.

We actually dyed eggs this year! I think this might be the first time we've done that, sad that it took me so long. I was always afraid of the mess. Here they are with some eggs....

Choosing a color...

Cutie Pie had a great time finding eggs. She LOVED the jelly beans. She was eating them by the handful.
Popcorn finding eggs...

Sweetie with one of the golden eggs. She really wanted me to put money in them but instead I gave them coupons. They each can pick where we'll eat dinner one night (which basically means we'll go to Sonic!).
Stay tuned for Sweetie's birthday fun!

Popcorn turns 5!

I can't believe that Popcorn is already 5 years old! She's full of energy and is our little comedian. Here she is modeling a very cute birthday outfit...

She had several days of birthday fun. On Thursday she took treats to pre-school. (Side story...while we were at the store I was listing different things she could take; I told her I was giving her options. She said: "I don't want options, I want a treat!" It was funny.) Then on Friday she had a Princess party that we combined with our usual Friday play date. Here are the girls all dressed up...

After we got Sweetie from school we went to Sonic and got our favorite treat...mozzarella sticks and slushies. We had to leave the house for a showing so we took the opportunity to have a little fun. Then we hit the library. Here they are goofing around in the car waiting for our food...

Popcorn and her cake. She wanted the ever popular Butterfly cake (easy to make and cute). She decorated it herself with sprinkles and Skittles.

We love you Popcorn!
