School is out!

Summer can begin! While Sweetie is excited to sleep in and play she's very sad about saying goodbye to her teacher and friends. They were together for 2 years- both Kindergarten and 1st grade. Here's a pic of Sweetie and her friend S on their train field trip.

Her teacher gave each child a CD of pictures she has taken over the last couple years. So cool!

Cutie Pie turns 1!

We spent a fun day at the zoo (the weather was perfect!) and then enjoyed some cake and presents. I made a cake specifically for her to play with/destroy, it's covered in cool whip. Enjoy some pictures!

This week hasn't been as hectic as the last couple weeks so we're doing good. We're preparing for Cutie Pie's one year old blowout birthday bash this weekend so look for pictures!

Staying in Texas!

As most of you know L recently got a new job up in Dallas after working for Mars for 4 years. While Mars was very good to us it was time for a change. L is now working for a private school and so far he really loves it. His new job will keep us in one place and he won't have to travel much, so we're excited about that. We've really enjoyed living in Texas and are happy to settle down.

However...he stays up there during the week and comes home on the weekends. I'm getting rather worn out and I'm only on week #3. Hopefully I'll last until school gets out. I say this not for sympathy (you do what you have to do) but rather to explain why my posting may kind of drop off. When I finally have some time to myself I usually need to rest rather than blog. I find that when I get really tired I get migraines and I got a killer one last week. Anyway- we're all alive and well even if I don't post much.
