Looking for inspiration...

I've been wanting to post something but haven't been able to think of anything exciting, I don't even have any fun pictures to share. It seems like I've been unpacking and now that I'm tired of that (notice I said tired...not finished) I find other things to do. It seems like I've had to make a million phone calls about this and that, turning off services, changing our address, and turning on services.

The girls are having lots of fun with their new friends, they play outside all the time. It was rather hot last week (in the 90's and humid) so they were inside a little more than usual. People were joking that we brought the Texas heat with us. Today has been very nice so far, I heard it should be in the 80's this week.

The only other excitement is that Cutie Pie is TOILET TRAINING! Let it be known that this was not my idea, I would never start so early. She gets really bothered by messy diapers and has been asking to be changed so we went and got some pull ups last week and embarked on this adventure. The very first day she did a little #2 in the toilet and the second day she did #1 right after her nap. Nothing since. She's really good at telling me when she's just gone, we just don't make it to the toilet before she has to go. I have a feeling this is going to take awhile. She's lost her excitement for sitting on the toilet (we have a fun little Dora kid seat) but now that I've started I hate to go back to diapers.

With the older 2 kids it was more of a forced training. They were 3 and I just had another little baby in diapers and I decided they were old enough to train. It was a struggle but it only lasted a few days. I can see Cutie Pie's training stretching out for months right before my eyes. She's growing up so fast!

New place

We arrived safe and sound in Tennessee and we love it here already! More on that later...

Here the girls are having fun in the packing materials. Who knew boxes and paper could be so entertaining? They started out having it 'rain' paper then they piled it up and were jumping into it. Good times.

Taking a little break for a snack...

I haven't taken any pictures of the front of the house, we spend most of our time out back. This is really why we love where we are, this gorgeous view...

If that wasn't enough we also have an awesome screened porch, we've been eating outside every chance we get.
We love our house and the backyard, and we found out on Sunday that we live on the perfect street. Everyone on our street (5 houses in total) has girls, and only girls! Each of the houses backs up to a common grass area so there's lots of room to run and play. There are a total of 9 girls, including our 3. The oldest is 10 and Cutie Pie is the youngest. She is already having a hard time trying to keep up with the group. Sweetie and Popcorn have had a great time playing outside. We got a lot of rain the other day and the little creek behind us filled up with water. When they came inside Sweetie told me they were making earrings out of rocks and grass, and tonight they were working on a play to be performed at a later date. All the parents get together and chat while the kids play, we're looking forward to a great summer!

Cute pictures

We're busy getting ready to move so I don't have time to post any fun stories but I will leave you with some cute pictures...

Popcorn and Cutie Pie having some fun sister time.

Playing with the water, or as Popcorn likes to say she's making a cake. At any rate is makes a big mess and takes several towels to clean up.

Cutie Pie discovered my stuff, doesn't she look pleased with herself?

Sweetie and Cutie Pie at the pre-school Spring concert.

Cutie Pie always wants to go outside and swim, she gets very angry when I won't let her. However, I realized that she really just wants to splash.

I'm not sure when we're getting the Internet set up at our new place but I hope to be back online soon. Tennessee here we come!
